Jim Carrey is known for his acting skills more than anything. He mastered roles that were not only easy to pull off but also required a little more than acting to truly dive into them. From comedy to drama, Carrey can work brilliantly in any genre you give him and there are a ton of movies under his name to support this statement. But lately, Carrey is seen everywhere but the movies.
His ditzy and interesting interviews, politically-charged painting of the US President Donald Trump and so many other things have suddenly brought him back to the public eye. And, now he also has an interesting movie for his fans to look out for, in terms of Jim Carrey movies list.
While Carrey has done thriller movies in the past, Dark Crimes can easily be considered as the most interesting and creepy one. Carrey plays the role of a tormented police officer named Tadek who discovers an unsolved murder and sex crime bears similarities to a famous novel by author Krystov Kozlow (Marton Csokas). Tadek sets out on a mission to link Kozlow to the murder, but his investigation leads to a dangerous fascination with the author and his girlfriend, a mysterious sex club worker played by Charlotte Gainsbourg.
