One of the most talented young names from the world of Indian Film Industry Kaashvi Nair, known for revered projects such as POW Bandi Buddh Ke, Shaadi Vaadi and all that is soon to come out with her maiden directorial debut. It is titled Sardar Ka Grandson, and seems to be an engaging comedy drama. With a cast as versatile and promising as Neena Gupta, Soni Razdan, Arjun Kapoor, and Kawaljeet, one can expect box office fireworks.
But then as it’s often said, big movie stars are only about the hype and drama. Their money, their salubrious lifestyles and the swag with which they operate! It’s all insular. Right? Well, certainly not. At least, not with the cast and crew of the upcoming Sardar Ka Grandson.
For this film crew engaged itself in the greater good of mankind, or should one say- ecology! In participating in a truly beautiful gesture, the actors of Sardar Ka Grandson planted as many as 557 trees in the state of Arunachal Pradesh, as news reports confirmed. In so doing, they presented themselves as true-blue nature warriors.
The film, it is told, is an excellent melange of comedy and emotions. It journeys between Lahore and Amritsar, and more than being a movie set about a house, which is the central plot, it is about the changing vagaries of human emotions and the bond that makes us one!
Here’s what a report on the film Sardar Ka Grandson had to say, as published on Bollywood Hungama:
The entire cast and crew of coming of age, family comedy-drama, Sardar Ka Grandsonwas seen making joint efforts to save the environment.
