Akshay Kumar is all set for his next movie ‘Rustom’. The movie is set on the theme of late 1950s and Akshay’s ‘avatar’ in the movie is entirely new. In ‘Rustom’ Akshay will be seen playing an intense character of a Navy Officer. The movie is inspired by certain real life incidents that happened in the past and ‘Rustom’ is shot in India as well as in Britain.
Akshay has become the current favourite actor of all the patriotic movie fanatics as his Airlift entertained fans and aroused patriotism. Now he is all set to defend the nation’s honour as ‘Rustom’. The actor tweeted his first look of the movie and you can’t deny that he looks incredibly handsome in that medals studded officers’ uniform.

Co-produced by Essel Vision, Cape of Good Films and Kriari Entertainment, the film has been written by Vipul Rawal and directed by Neeraj Pandey. The music of the film has been composed by Ankit Tiwari with Santosh Thundiyil as the cinematographer.
Rustom will be released during the Independence Day weekend 12 August 2016
