‘Maine Tujhko Dekha’ is here and since the first note of the song, you will recall the famous ‘Neend Churayi Meri’ from 1997 romantic comedy Ishq. The song is the revamped adding an extra dose of music and completely different lyrics. Of, course they have kept the hook line and signature tune intact, also it cannot go unnoticed that Ajay Devgan is another common string. From shaking his leg on ‘Neend Churayi Meri’ with Kajol to grooving on the tunes of ‘Maine Tujhko Dekha’ with Parineeti Chopra, Ajay surely knows to keep his charms pristine.
Golmaal Again has included the rehashed version of the old song, which (like most of the other revised songs) disappoint us. Other than Parineeti’s pretty smile, over saturated locations, Ajay Devgan’s lousy dance, signature tune and the original chorus, everything about ‘Maine Tujhko Dekha’ is unsatisfactory.

The original song ‘Neend Churayi Meri’ was composed by Anu Malik. The makers of Golmaal Again asked his nephew Amaal, Malik, to revise the song and guess what? He has completely changed it. The additional lyrics by Kumaar are disheartening, the music composed by Amaal Malik fails to impress (although you can still dance on the tunes), and most of all, we miss how magical the original composition was.
‘Maine Tujhko Dekha’ is sung in the voices of Neeraj Sridhar and Sukriti Kakkar, however, they too fail to make a cut. No offense, but, competing with the legendary singers like Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik and Kavita Krishnamurthy is no easy task.
