The trailer of Nila Madhab Panda’s ‘Kadvi Hawa’ is out and it takes us through the dark tunnels of umpteen of disasters that are caused by the climate change. Kadvi Hawa revolves around the life of the villagers of Bundelkhand who are battling with the problem of scorching and lacks water resources and other regions of Orissa that have been wrecked after floods.
Kadvi Hawa is a harsh truth of today’s reality. We are aware that in past few decades there has been a tremendous change in climate that resulted in various natural disasters. Where some still find it hard to believe that their whole life has been wiped out by the ocean, some farmers are committing suicide due to the lack of water resulting in pedocal farms.
The movie is an eye opener, where children are denying that Monsoon is actually a season. Farmers are committing suicide as all they have is poisonous air that is slowly suffocating them to die of debts.
