Aamir Khan is said to be the perfectionist of Bollywood and this recent video of his weight transformation for ‘Dangal’ is proof why he truly deserves the title. Aamir is playing the character of Mahaveer Singh Phogat in the movie and he is playing the two versions of his character, one where he is a young wrestler and another where he is an old Mahaveer who trains his daughters to become the champion wrestlers.
In the beginning of the shoot, the director told him to shoot the younger version but Aamir said that he will shoot the older version of Mahaveer first. First, he gained weight and became a 97 kg man to play his older avatar and then he went through an extremely challenging training during which he didn’t only shed his weight from 97 to 70 kg but also reduced the fat from 38% to 9%.

He enjoyed the initial journey of weight gain but weight loss was a bigger challenge than he thought but the actor didn’t give up. He suppressed all his negative thoughts and focused on positive ones. Under the supervisions of health experts, he did a lethal regime to shed weight and like always he achieved his goal.
Most of you may think that’s an easy job since you have to focus on one thing only but watch him moving and lifting those weights closely because that can be done with true dedication only!
