Anushka Sharma’s Pari has been on Bollywood sneak peek and teaser releases for a long time now. The makers have been dropping something or the other about the movie, every now and then. And, as much as we loved watching all of that almost regularly, it indeed ignited the anticipation of the movie more among the audience.
We all wanted to know what the heck Anushka Sharma’s Pari is actually about?
With the release of the official Pari Trailer, we have finally been given a little premise of the story, even though a lot of it still doesn’t make any sense.
As per the official Pari trailer, Anushka Sharma is brought home by Parambrata Chatterjee who wants to help her as she has no one. But as soon as she enters the house, the things start going downhill. Sharma on a particular instance admits to Chatterjee to save her from the man who wants to kill her, and almost suddenly the scene shifts to a man taking out his eyeball. The man is identified as Rajat Kapoor and his presence in the movie is indeed something to look forward to.
Even though the trailer doesn’t reveal a lot about the movie, it surely raised the curiosity levels with the fans as to what Anushka will be offering different in the movie.
Official Pari Trailer: Watch The Video Here:
The trailer indeed looks promising and Anushka Sharma definitely seems to have mastered the act of a woman possessed by a devil. Her expressions and acting seem to be on point, at least from the trailer, and we’ll love to see the same in the movie too.
Rajat Kapoor’s character has finally seen the light of day through this trailer and he’s definitely ready to put his best foot forward for this psychological thriller.
Pari might be able to change the course of the horror genre in Bollywood and we’re damn too excited about it to happen. It’s already been long since we were graced by a good horror movie and it’s high time that something good comes out of an industry that produces more than 500 movies a year.
Directed by Prosit Roy and produced by Clean Slate Films, Pari is slated to release on March 2nd.
