Bollywood welcomes everyone with open arms. It gives you the much-needed chance to write your fate in golden letters, however, your choices, attitude, and talent, decides whether you can stay and sustain its difficult parameters or you can have a shining moment that will be lost into oblivion soon.
Every day thousands of actors enter into this industry to make a glorifying career in acting, only a handful make it to meet the right people and only one or two grab a chance to prove their potential. There are several names in Bollywood who tossed up as a promising talent, however, they disappeared over the time form this magnetic glamourous industry.
1. Jugal Hansraj
Jugal Hansraj started his career as a child artist in Masoom in 1983 and lastly appeared in a minor role in Madhuri Dixit’s Aaja Nachle in 2007. More than 2 decades in the industry but he is still known best for his multi starrer Mohabbatein. the actor has a dreamy face, a convincing screen presence, yet he was unable to make his name under the successful actors of Bollywood.
2. Celina Jaitly
The crowned Miss India in 2001, she started her career in B-town with some popular videos before finally debuting opposite Fardeen Khan in Janasheen in 2003. After that, she did appear in several roles in movies such as No Entry, Apna Sapna Money Money, Golmaal Returns, etc, however, she failed to make the cut.
3. Harman Baweja
The actor literally had a five-film career in Bollywood and all of his films were a big flop at the box office. He started his career with Love Story 2050 in 2008 and failed to impress the audience even after having a charming face and impressive dance moves. The actor also dated Priyanka Chopra and Bipasha Basu during his time in Bollywood but in 2014 he bid goodbye to acting as well as Bollywood divas.
4. Vatsal Seth
Remember those hazel eyes and pretty smile from Tarzan: The Wonder Car,? Vatsal Seth was undoubtedly the hope of many your girl’s hearts owing to the fact that his show Just Mohabbat was popular among teenagers. But looks like Bollywood wasn’t as easy to survive as TV so he got disappeared sooner than people expected.
5. Amisha Patel
Debuting opposite to Hrithik Roshan, Amisha would have never thought that she would be a nobody in Bollywood so soon. Kaho Na Pyaar Hai was a mega-hit and actress got directors lined up at her door. However, her wrong attitude and drunk public stunts make her unreliable professionally and she lost her fame to Karma.
6. Zayed Khan
He started his career with Chura Liyaa Hai Tumne in 2003. He is popularly known for his performances in Main Hoon Na, Dus, Fight Club – Members Only, Yuvvraaj, Blue. The actor never received much praise and soon was forgotten by the audiences.
7. Ayesha Takia
The actress started off her career with Music videos and finally made her debut against Vatsal Seth in 2004. Although she has acted in many movies including Salaam- E- Ishq, Wanted and Dor (for which she received a Screen Award for Best Actress Critics), she could never make her place in the list of influencing Bollywood actresses.
8. Fardeen Khan
The son of veteran actor Feroz Khan debuted with high expectations in 1998 with Prem Aggan. He has his fair share of 12 years in the Industry, during which he did manage to give some decent performances in movies such as Jungle, Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega, Om Jai Jagadish, No Entry, Heyy Babyy, and All the Best: Fun Begins. He tried to revive his career with his last movie Dulha Mil Gaya, however, the movie saw a bad failure at the box office.
9. Shamita Shetty
The younger sister of Shilpa was launched by the biggest banner of Bollywood Yash Raj, however, the lack of acting skills and screen appeal made her vanish after several projects. She did try to revive her image through Bigg Boss but nothing worked out in her favor.
All of these actors tried to make their luck in Bollywood but failed. We guess not everyone has the confidence as strong as carapace to survive the hardship of Industry that fulfills the dreams of million people.
