The latest talk of the town is the clash of two big Bollywood movies, Dilwale and Bajirao Mastani. However the makers have already said that it is not right to compare them as both the movies are of a different genre but the box office collection amount does not generalise on content. The collection defines the success and the failure, as we all know at the end of the day all that matters is the box office collection. The future of Dilwale and Bajirao Mastani will be decided on 18 December but if we look at the previous scenario, Shahrukh Khan has always been the winner of every clash at the Box Office.
Shahrukh Khan is one of the most loved actors and his fans never let him down. They always shower their love for Shahrukh and, in the end, he wins every time.
Here Is The List Of Six Previous Clashes Of Bollywood Where Shahrukh Won Every Time:
1. 1998 : Kuch Kuch Hota Hai And Bade Miyaan Chote Miyaan
During the Diwali season of 1998, Kuch Hota Hai and Bade Miyaan Chote Miyaan clashed at the box office.
Although neither of the films was a flop but Shahrukh’s Kuch Kuch Hota hai won the race and became the higher grosser of the year.
2. 2001: Mission Kashmir And Mohabbatein
In 2001, Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s Mission Kashmir clashed with Mohabbatein. Though Mission Kashmir had the content, Sanjay Dutt, Hrithik Roshan and the dimpled beauty Preity Zinta in it, the film did not go well. On the other side, Shahrukh with Aishwarya Rai created magic on box office and gathered all the praises that year.
3. 2004: Aitraaz And Veer Zaara
Aitraaz and Veer Zaara had a big box office clash in 2004. While the content of the Aitraaz won many praises from the critics, the magical duo of Preity Zinta and Shahrukh Khan outnumbered Aitraaz with their exceptional performance in the movie.
4. 2006: Jaaneman And Don
Jaaneman had Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Preity Zinta and still it can not survive the face off with Shahrukh Khan’s Don. Shahrukh single-handedly managed to woo the audiences with his performance.
5. 2007: Saawariya And Om Shanti Om
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Saawariya was the debut film of two star kids Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor. The film was shot in dark and blue light but failed to impress the audience. Shahrukh Khan with Deepika Padukone won the hearts with the heart touching storyline of love and reincarnation. Saawariya was a major flop and Om Shanti Om was a mega hit!
6. 2012: Son Of Sardar And Jab Tak Hai Jaan
Yash Chopra’s last directed Jab Tak Hai Jaan was not very well received by the audiences and critics, but the fans of Shahrukh Khan did not care about the glitches and the movie proved to be a hit. Though the other movie Son Of Sardar was not a flop but the success rate of Jab Tak Hai Jaan outnumbered Ajay Devgan starrer comedy.
Well, these were the previous scenarios but you never know what future holds. Let’s see what happen when Dilwale and Bajirao Mastani clash on the box office. This clash is even bigger than the clash of titans. Just saying!!
