The future belongs to those who prepare for it today. Just how often have we all heard that one, right? Though in the truest of sense, this stands truest for the realm of electric cars, whose time has truly come today. A solution for the course of the future, a novel idea that is no longer being thought of as being an empowering solution for the tomorrow. Truth be told, in the last half a decade, the sales of electric cars have only soared toward the north, and not only in China, which has already taken the world of electric vehicles by a storm, but in distinct strands of geographies, such as Germany, Austria, France and the United States of America.
That being said, one of the world’s most iconic carmakers, Audi, a brand second to none in the refined melange of luxury and automotive design has had a few promising observations to make about electric cars. According to the iconic German carmaker, the imminent future belongs to the savvy world of electric cars and where the immediate course of the future stands, take the next two to three years, the sales of electric cars might only soar further.
But that’s not all. As a matter of fact, Audi has gone as far as betting big on electric cars, stating in no uncertain terms the fact that much like the sales of the current gas-powered cars, the sales of electric cars too will hit very promising figures.
Now, if any random industry expert, lacking any foresight would have said such a thing, one may not have taken it in any seriousness. But since, the famous luxury sedan and SUV maker from the ‘Fatherland,’ has shared something so insightful, it beckons tremendous interest, with such a statement warranting to be taken seriously.
What one also note closely is that Audi itself has begun to accelerate the plans of electrifying its vehicles. A move that promises a keen step taken by the famous car brand toward the realm of green, where one doesn’t solely rest on profits and also happens to care about the ecology and environment.
Though that told, just what about electric cars and the world they have come to co-habit alongside the fuel-powered four-wheelers has made the iconic German giant make the statement it did?
Here’s what renowned electric vehicle-fuelled news platform Electrik.com had to say:
