Bollywood is one of the biggest movie producing industries in the world and also one of the oldest to have existed, with fans all over the world.
As someone who grew up with a much more readily available source of entertainment, the impact Bollywood has on the world, seems too little to be precise. However, it’s not at all like that.
Bollywood and Raj Kapoor were synonymous to the entire world even before people could easily spot the country on the world map. His movies reached places and people that one could not even think of. Russians and other Slovakians were huge fans of Bollywood and Raj Kapoor. However, with this recent video going viral on the Internet, it seems there are more to Raj Kapoor fans and the places they reside in.
A Chinese man’s heartfelt rendition of Raj Kapoor’s Awara Hoon from the actor’s movie Awara has gone viral and has won many hearts on the internet. In the video posted by a journalist, the man is seen humming the tune to perfection, with his friends humming along. And to the surprise of many, the man’s Hindi pronunciation is almost impeccable.
