Hillary Clinton has lost the elections, which means that America is not going to get its first female President anytime soon, but more than electing a woman, it was about electing a right candidate. Americans went with a man who knew nothing about politics and President-ship, someone who has bragged about sexually assaulting many women and has accusations for the same. All this was not at all supported by a major amount of women in America, which is why they came forward with some heartbreaking messages and statements about the elections.
These women exactly know, how Hillary Clinton must be feeling right now. When you’re the best candidate for the job, but don’t get it because of sexism.
What I learned on #ElectionNight: Being a racist, bigoted, prejudice, lying sexual predator is still more acceptable than being a woman.

Tell me again how rape and sexual assault accusations will ruin a man's career

Never underestimate how much people hate women and minorities.

Congrats, America. You’d rather elect a man accused of sexual assault than a woman who mishandled her emails https://t.co/xTTESI5sc2 pic.twitter.com/AlTCyIB6eH

In a single stroke, America which considers itself d epitome of liberal values has destroyed a century old fight for gender equality #Trump

Trump might be a racist, misogynist, fraud & a demagogue but let us not forget Hillary has serious negatives and baggage like being a woman

What's even more demoralizing is knowing how hard Hillary's worked and how qualified she is, and yet… And every woman knows this feeling.

People ask why women don't report sexual assault. You got your answer: a man can have double digit accusers & still be elected President.

As a lgbtq+ woman & survivor of sexual assault, I've never been so disgusted with such a large group of people in my entire life.

I'm a woman. I'm Muslim. I'm a refugee. I'm an immigrant. I'm everything Donald Trump dehumanizes and devalues. I'm ashamed of America

I'm sick realizing how deeply men hate women. How deeply white people hate POC. How easily we are all shoved aside.

If you thought we were nasty before, you better buckle your fucking seat belts because you haven't seen a real nasty woman yet

#Trump did not win. Hatred won. Racism won. Sexism won. Ignorance won. I feel sorry for #America #USElection2016 #RIPAmerica

Ignorance and sexism indeed won.
