Parkour is one of the closest thing possible to the video games, in real life and those who have the courage to do it, are seriously, nothing short of a superhero, themselves. It basically refers to an activity of negotiating one’s way through an area by running, jumping or climbing. Long story short, it’s like an obstacle course of sorts.
And, while many parkour videos are amazing, this one will just completely blow your mind, because it’s at that level of amazingness. Calen Chan, a 19-year-old athlete. Posted a video on YouTube where he takes on the World’s Largest Parkour Course, which is at Tianmen Mountain in China. This parkour course has been designed at a location called – Heaven’s Gate.
At an average inclination of 99 degrees, and 999 step long (which is about the size of 3 football fields), this definitely was not an easy task to carry out and perform. You can basically see Chan panting for life in the end of the video, which makes it all the more thrilling.
As Chan said in his YouTube video’s description, “Obviously this was difficult, and I physically couldn’t sprint down the entire path of deadly drops without slowing down, but I did my best! I am the only person to do the whole thing with a GoPro in my mouth”. This particular trick helps in providing a much more real feel to the audience and give it a you-are-just-there kind of feel.

Scary and adventurous, right? At one point in time, we’re basically rooting for Chan to complete his course safely because it felt that dangerous to watch in POV shot.
