God and Religion plays a really big role in our society and our country and basically in our world, as of now. Our gods and religions have been the source of inspiration for many who consider themselves to be the saviour of their gods and religion. If you think that we’re talking in circles and none of this actually makes any sense, then trust me, that’s what the condition of our society is, as of now.
Through ‘Lord Ram In Court’, Gaurav Tripathi beautifully lays down all that’s going down in our society. The poet talks about how easily we have misinterpreted the true meaning of our God and fought at places where fights were not needed, wanted or appreciated. Every Indian should watch this video for how simply it describes the wrong path on which we’re walking on.
“Riots happened for me, which killed my own children”
This particular line says a lot about how true we have gone out to vent our anger. We have killed people for eating, drinking or making certain life choices. We have killed people for being who they’re and we have killed people for being who they are not. This alone should make us understand that our God doesn’t need our help and our saviour doesn’t want us to be their saviour.
