This new feature is announced at this year’s F8, Facebook’s annual developer conference. According to the description, these Bolts will be able to do your day to day activity like ordering your food or booking a flight. The goal of launching these bots is to make you use only one app to do anything. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg described You can ask 1-800-Flowers on Messenger for a list of flowers, pick one, and say who you want to send it to, and ta-da — you’re done. “You never have to call 1-800-Flowers again,” Zuckerberg said during the keynote. He also took another example of reading CNN. You will be provided with a daily list of stories to read by the company and the more you use it the more personalised it will get.

These Bots are the chat robots, basically, the interactive software powered by artificial intelligence with an assist from people. These bots are designed to stimulate the conversation. They pop up on the messaging services and there you can use them to perform your day to day simple tasks. They have launched half a dozen bots for now and a dozen bots will be launching soon. You can book a cab or track your purchases. There is so much to these bots you will find out as soon as you use them.
With a goal of putting people first, Mark Zuckerberg did a smart experiment this time as this feature will add more popularity to Facebook. The app will reduce the usage of other similar apps and considering, you don’t need a Facebook account to use messenger this new feature will get the messenger app popular than ever.
