Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan have posted a strong message for every parent out there and you need to read it.
India is a country with a lot of competition, everyone is trying to win a race that no one knows even a thing about and it’s not just the participant who is in it, but also his entire family. This is why every parent just puts too much pressure on their kids in order to make them reach the finish line and reach there fast.
Along with pressure, corporal punishment is also seen as a resort that many take on to. From a parent to a teacher, there are many who don’t want to teach a kid but simply want to train them with the help of corporal punishment.
A video of a young girl is being circulated on the Internet where the kid is seen crying vehemently during one of her study session. One look at her face and you’ll immediately feel the trauma that she’s going through, just in order to learn to count till 5.
At one point of the video, the girl even admits that it’s paining and she doesn’t want the other person to get violent on her. This is the same trauma that many kids go through daily. The trauma where the elders just forget about every emotion while making their kids learn something.
The same video was shared by Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli on Instagram this morning. While Kohli gave a heartfelt message on how sad it’s, Dhawan quoted his wife’s message on the video that hit home for many.
Read both the messages down below:
Personally, I’m not in the kid phase or the parent phase, yet it makes me feel disgusted. Because nothing can change the way this kid felt at this very moment. The way she’s pleading to stop it. Nothing.
