In a recent tweet, Harbhajan Singh said that R.Ashwin’s tally of wickets in the India vs New Zealand test series was a result of an already spin friendly wickets. He could also have taken these many wickets on these types of pitches.
The tweet could be a result of his desperation to come back in the main team, but he should know that twitter will not be considered as a medium of selection in the team and he should focus on his performance rather than commenting on someone else’s.
His tweet shows that he has completely ripped R.Ashwin of the credit and has no respect for the player. He also used the hashtag ‘tailormadeconditionsforspinners’ during the third test match at Indore.
Already looks like 2 days old pitch before the 1st bowl is bowled..my predictions match won't go more then 3 and half days.. https://t.co/obn4qVRnP6

In another tweet he wrote that Anil Kumble and his tally of wickets could have been way better if they were provided these types of pitches.
Only 2 in my 103 tests.. Kumble and my test wicket count would have been something else if we got wickets like last 4 years we playing on👊 https://t.co/fvkdVw1I1v

Maninder Singh, former Indian spinner said while reacting on Bhajji’s tweet that Harbhajan could be jealous of Ashwin, as the later has broken his record of achieving fastest 200 test wickets.
He also said that Harbhajan Singh should learn to be humble from the likes of Sachin Tendulkar and Anil Kumble.
Virat Kohli also reacted to Harbhajan Singh’s tweets and said that he knew, people will comment on the pitches but it was not the scenario as the pitches were wet due to heavy rains.
He backed Ashwin by saying “Even if it is a turning pitch, you have to bowl well. Spin is just not something to happen only off the pitch. It depends on how many revs (revolutions) you give to the ball and the use of the shoulder. When we lost to New Zealand in the World Cup, I quite clearly remember, suddenly their spinners were quality bowlers and we were found out! I don’t see anyone talking about it now.”
Now, this is how a supportive captain reacts. His statement will surely clear all the illusions that people have in their mind.
A fan also answered Harbhajan Singh’s tweet and the thrashing is one of a kind.
