Kapil Sharma is a noted comedian of India and like most of us, he was not spared by the contagion of corruption. It’s a disease that is deep rooted in India’s bureaucracy.
Most of the government sectors are infected by this disease, even Municipal corporations are no less. In India, a common man facing the hurdles of this disease was the everyday topic but seems like celebrities like Kapil Sharma are treated like the same way when it comes to grease the pockets of some corrupt officials.
The latest victim of India’s infamous bureaucratic system is India’s most popular comedian Kapil Sharma. The stand-up comedian has been asked to pay 5 lakh as a bribe for clearing the file of his new office.
Kapil Sharma took twitter to reveal the shameful demand of officials.
Here is what he tweeted:
I am paying 15 cr income tax from last 5 year n still i have to pay 5 lacs bribe to BMC office for making my office @narendramodi

He did not just stop on one tweet, bursting with frustration, he tagged Prime Minister Modi and asked ‘Yeh Hai Aapke Ache Din?’
Yeh hain aapke achhe din ? @narendramodi

Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is the richest municipal corporation in the country, but it looks like it is also inept, corrupt and slothful as this is not the first incident.
Whether it was hospital strikes, healthcare, monsoon woes, pothole ridden roads or garbage disposal, BMC has always been lackadaisical and corrupt.
A Delhi court made a brutal observation last year and stated that Municipal corporations are breeding ground for corruption.
