Micromax Bharat 5 Plus Is All Set To Give Entry-Level Smartphones A Run For Their Money

It’s not international smartphone brands that have got active in the very first week of 2018, showcasing their plans for the whole year but domestic players too, are getting ready for another fight, especially in the budget segment.

Micromax, the Indian maker, has taken the lead here by announcing its first smartphone of the year, dubbed as the Micromax Bharat 5 Plus. just like its predecessor, the Bharat 5, the Plus variant largely focuses on the 5000 mAh battery which is rated to offer 21 hours of standby time. However, what sets Micromax Bharat 5 Plus from its predecessor is the USB OTG supports which enables users to charge other devices as well, making the smartphone in question, a portable power bank.

While the details about pricing and availability of Micromax Bharat 5 Plus haven’t been unveiled as of now, the Indian maker has listed its specifications on the website, which hints towards the Bharay 5 Plus being launched in direct competition to the likes of Redmi 5A, Redmi Y1 Lite, and Moto C Plus.

Micromax Bharat 5 Plus Specifications

Micromax is the only Indian smartphone maker that has managed to go head-to-head with the likes of Xiaomi and Moto. The company has hit out hard with its well-rounded packages in the entry-level space along with a formidable Canvas Infinity in the mid-budget segment which comes with an 18:9 edge-to-edge display for media consumption.

As for the entry-level segment, after selling over 3 million units of the Bharat series in 2017, Micromax Bharat 5 Plus will definitely give a boost to the rising with features like stock Android, USB OTG support, a massive battery and a decent hardware package.
