There are wild animals and then, there are cute and cuddly animals. You stay afraid of the former and feel loved by the sight of the latter- don’t you? And perhaps, it doesn’t require one to make an extraordinary note of the fact that delightful creatures such as the Koala Beer and the Giant Panda happen to fall in the latter category- isn’t it? Truth be told, there’s an endless sense of intrigue that’s attached to the Giant Panda, an animal so desperately on the edge from the population standpoint that one may just not know when it might become extinct.
In another sense, it might not be entirely incorrect to state a Giant Panda is one of the most loved creatures. There’s this sense of endless fascination that one finds with an animal that humanists or conservationists have gone out of their way to protect and save from population extinction.
So much so that as has often been the case, this amazingly cute animal is even loaned out to some other nations so that it can procreate and its population be increased or should one say, saved?
And as one saw in the recent episode with France, a country to whom a huge Giant Panda had been loaned out, it appears the animal has created quite some news and good one at that!
So here comes the question- what is the news surrounding this particular Panda beer, one that originally hailed from China and was loaned out to the land of the famous Eiffel Tower?
The following is what famous France-based news network France 24 happened to report on a piece of news that’s positive and delightful in equal measure:
Huan Huan, a giant panda on loan to France, gave birth to twin cubs very early Monday, according to the Beauval zoo. The twins, born around 1 am, are Huan Huan and her partner Yuan Zi’s third cubs after the first-ever panda was born in the country (France) in the year 2017.
The two babies are pink. They are perfectly healthy. They look big enough. They are magnificent,” said Rodolphe Delord, president of Zoo-Parc de Beauval in Saint-Aignan, central France.
Now, moving on, here’s an interesting fact concerning the process of reproduction where it specifically concerns the Giant Panda. It is also something that, one suspects, not too many would be aware of.
It may not have struck many of us that in order to make them reproduce, one has to make a lot of effort, the simple reason being that reproduction involving Giant Pandas in captivity is one of the hardest things to do. It’s down to the fact that, once the huge creature is released into the habitat, it either does not know what to do or when to do (the process of reproduction).

Here’s what the France 24 news report concerning this mega creature ended with:
Huan Huan and her partner Yuan Zi — the star attractions at Beauval — thrilled zoo officials in March when they managed to make “contact”, as they put it, eight times in a weekend.
Furthermore, what is known is that the newborns will only be named after a period of 100 days, and the person who will get to decide their names would be none other than Ms Peng Liyuan, who happens to be the wife of Chinese President XI Jinping.
