Even those who make an effort to keep their home tidy are faced with the same problem from time to time. They are often seen asking ‘How to organize home’, ‘Where are the policy papers, light bulbs, and especially the decorations from last year? And where should you put the new vacuum cleaner now?’ With this 5-point strategy, you can bring order and freedom into your life.
The organization plan is divided into five steps to ensure that the daily clutter is dealt with on a daily basis. Anyway, it is a proven fact that an organized home brings order not only to your life but especially your children. Let’s take a look at these five organization steps.
If you don’t find what you’re looking for straight away, you get in a spoilt mood immediately. A look into the storage cabinet room does not bode well because it is furthermore chaotic. And clearing out and tidying up the home is long overdue. So, what can you do to ensure order with every item in the house? Here is how you keep the home tidy.
Before you can create an order, it is first necessary to clear out everything unnecessary. All shoes and clothing that you have not worn for more than two years belong in the used clothing collection or outside the house. You can also safely dispose of broken devices such as the old amplifier or the table lamp or other electronics that you originally wanted to have repaired, in the bulky waste if they have been sitting idle for more than two years.
The second step on how to organize home is by organizing household items. Tools and household appliances are often bulky and not very decorative. So what do you do with a vacuum cleaner or ironing board, nails, and hammer? For each item, a place should be chosen where it can be easily found and later put down again. The idea here is to create a section for each item according to its genre.

The Principle applied here is that the more often you use something, the easier it has to be to find and reach it. Various in-house locations come into question when hiding these items. The vacuum cleaner and ironing board can be hidden behind a wall, cabinet, or a screen. In high old buildings, in particular, there are also possible storage spaces in the ceiling area. With a little more effort, the room or storage space can also be partially separated with drywall or a built-in cupboard. The advantage is that both of them can be dismantled when moving out.
If you have found space for everything, the right filing system is still missing. For a free space on the wall, for example, you need a shelf, while in the ceiling area an above floor or a wall shelf makes a lot of sense in saving the space. Storage boxes are also useful for tidying up the remaining items later. Make sure the shelf you buy or create is easily removable.
Once the new household shelf has been set up and the wall shelf screwed on, it is now time to put everything away sensibly. Small items can be easily stored in boxes that are simply placed on the shelf or stacked. Brooms and scrubbers can be hung on the side or pushed under it. Regardless of whether it is a shelf, cupboard or chamber, heavy items go down, light items up, rarely used items go back, and also at the top. Hooks are also useful helpers for hanging up the extension cord or the shopping bag.
The targeted use of color can also make it easier to organize. A separate color code is chosen for each purpose. In the box with the blue marking, for example, only tape and glue go, while the green one is reserved for the replacement bulbs and electronic spares. Sensible labeling complements the system and simplifies searching and filing. Boxes made of transparent plastic make orientation easier because you can already guess from the outside whether the item you are looking for is inside.
The biggest problem with the order is keeping it permanently. The easiest way to do this is to put items immediately after use where they were taken out. This is a better way of memorizing which object belongs to which place. And if there should be chaos again, just clean up now and then, but not all at once, because that would be frustrating.
