Yes, you read that right. The much-awaited self-driven car Tesla will finally debut in India this 2021. The billionaire-genius Elon Musk’s Tesla cars have several futuristic features like self-driving, self-parking, supercharger electric charging, web browsing, and many more to play around with. Considering the features and pricing abroad, Tesla is expected to have a premium pricing in India ranging between 50 lakhs-1.50 crores since it is being speculated as they will either be imported via CKD or CBU route.

After Nexon and Tigor, Altroz is the third Tata motors car that will launch this year as a new redesigned electric vehicle. The last generation Altroz got a 5-star rating for its design and performance, this makes the Tata Altroz EV one of the most anticipated Upcoming cars of 2021. The new EV model is said to have a 300 kilometers range and will be priced around 11 Lakhs.
The classic family car, Wagon-R got a new and refreshed design back in 2019. Now, with the same design and footprints, a new electric variant is all set to launch this year around the festive season. Maruti Suzuki is eyeing to compete with their contenders in the electric cars market. The new electric Wagon-r is said to have a 150 kilometers range and will be priced between 7-9 Lakhs.

Tata Gravitas is a seven-seater SUV that is based on the same platform as Tata Harrier. The launch of this car is delayed as it was set for a December 2020 launch but Tata is now eyeing a mid-2021 launch. After the successful launch of Tata Nexon and Altroz people are very excited to see how Tata Gravitas will perform considering the competition it has in the seven-seater segment. The price is said to be between 15-20 Lakhs.
After a long time, Tata is now finally launching a new segment car, Tata HBX/Hornbill. All previous Tata cars have received a minimum 4-star rating and the Altroz got a 5-star rating. Buyers are now hoping that the new Hornbill/HBX would carry the same safety rating. It was showcased in the auto expo 2020 and will launch by the end of 2021. The price is expected to be around 5 Lakhs.
Skoda Vision-In is a concept SUV that debuted in auto expo 2020. The production model of Vision-In will be the same as Volkswagen Taigun and it will be competing in the SUV segment with Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, MG Hector, and Tata Nexon. The car is said to launch in 2021 with a price range rumored to be 12-15 Lakhs.

ISUZU is now back in the Indian markets with the all-new V-Cross and MU-X. They both were discontinued as they lacked a BS-VI engine option. Both the cars are said to have a refreshed overall design with a new engine, new looks, and new features. The new V-Cross will be launching in mid-2021 and the MU-X is said to be launched around December 2021. Pricing for both the cars is rumored to be between 25-30 Lakhs.
2021 might not be the year for flying cars but it will definitely be the year of electric cars.
