LG V30+ Launched In India: Price, Specifications And Review

India never got the LG V30 which was the biggest revolution in the company’s smartphone lineup, however, everything happens for a reason and this time, it was worthy of the wait. Why, you might ask? The answer is simple we have got the more premium version (debatable) dubbed as the LG V30+.

Finally, the LG V30+ is here and the one thing that has definitely gone better is the price tag which is close to Rs 8000 lower than its global launch price. It might be due to the LG V30+ being late to the party where the likes of Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus, Google Pixel 2 XL and the iPhone 8 Plus had already made their presence felt.

However, with a specs-sheet having a 6-inch OLED screen, SD 835 processor, wireless charging, waterproofing, dual-camera system and a long-lasting battery, the LG V30+ ticks all the right boxes. Moreover, with features like 32-bit Advanced Hi-Fi Quad DAC and sound tuning by B&O PLAY, it is a no-compromise smartphone for media lovers.

But as said earlier, LG V30+ has taken its own sweet time in making a touchdown at Indian shores which could hamper its pace of emerging through the ranks in premium flagship category where even the OnePlus 5T is making a lot of noises.

Let it be known, LG V30+ can’t be underestimated as it is the sleekest, mightiest and the most promising device from the South Korean maker’s stable.

On that note, Let’s see what the LG V30+ has to put on the table and can it indeed take LG to the glory they seek?

LG V30+ Price And Availability

Priced at Rs 44,990, the LG V30+ will be available in Aurora Black and Cloud Silver color option from 18th December exclusively via Amazon India, while pre-booking will be open from 14th December.

As for the launch offers, early buyers will get one-time screen replacement warranty, free wireless charger, and high-end headphone out-of-the-box.

LG V30+ Review

Let’s start with the lacking points because LG V30+ has plenty of good stuff to cover it up. First, with the likes of Samsung and Apple already working on their next flagship, the V30 Plus can never be a long-term investment. Moreover, it still runs on Android Nougat when Oreo is the new flagship software.

While users will find the UI cluttered, thanks to LG UX 6.0+, the display quality can’t be compared with the AMOLED panels of Samsung.

But that’s about it and since LG has taken some time to launch its flagship in India, the screen quality has been improved for the LG V30+.

Now, what makes it an exciting powerhouse to play with, are the shocking light yet confident built, the best design on an LG flagship, flagship hardware package including SD 835, ample of RAM for multitasking and heavy gaming, and a hard to match audio quality.

Conclusion

From cameras to audio output, from looks to performance and from elegance to durability, LG V30+ has to be one of the best launches of the year which ticks all the right boxes. It can finally lay the path for LG’s comeback to the top-tier where Apple and Samsung have been ruling for a long time.

P.S It is more affordable than most of its competitors.
