Oral Hygiene

Oral hygiene as the name sounds, is the habit and practice of keeping one’s mouth clean and free from the problems it could face, if not cleaned on a regular basis. Any type of dental disease and bad breath is prevented through regularly cleansing of the teeth.

Importance of Oral Hygiene

Now, it is very important to clean between the teeth too as we never know what we ate last night, could probably be stuck there and could possibly cause a problem in the near future. Tooth decay, cavities, bacteria in the mouth, etc. are common problems and are faced by those only who don’t keep their oral region clean and disease-free.

The simplest way by which one can prevent these, or any other kind of similar disease from happening, is by brushing teeth daily in the morning after waking up and before going to bed at night. This would set you free from future dental diseases, however, scientists say that ideally, one should brush his or her teeth after every meal, but it’s totally up to you and your schedule. Also, interdental cleaning holds as much importance as brushing teeth, and that could be done by using floss or interdental brushes.
