Xiaomi Smartphones With 4000mAh Battery and 13MP Camera Spotted

Xiaomi is working on not one but two new smartphones and despite rumors about the Mi6 and Mi5C already doing the rounds, the Chinese manufacturer knows that the major bulk of sales come from the budgeted segment. Backing the already established series of handsets in the segment, Xiaomi is all set to launch two more budget friendly devices.

Recently a listing on TENNA, a Chinese Certification site, was spotted by MyDrivers and they revealed some images and specs of Xiaomi’s two smartphones dubbed as MAE136 and MBE6A5. They both pack a 4,000 mAh battery, 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front shooter. Both smartphones will have a dual-SIM support and a fingerprint scanner.

As per TENAA listing, the MAE136 will come with a 5-inch (720×1280 pixels) HD display, an octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM, expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. The listing further suggests that it will feature Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box, instead of the trending 7.0 Nougat.

Other features include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n) and a microUSB port. The dimensions of the listed device are 139.24 × 69.94 × 8.65 mm and it weighs 150 grams.

Xiaomi MBE6A5, as per the listing, will feature a 5.5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) full HD display, a deca-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz coupled with 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. Surprisingly, the smartphone will be powered by Android 6.0 Marshmallow which, considering the other specifications, is a sub-standard software. MBE6A5 will support 4G LTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, a microUSB port. Listed measurement are 151 x 76 x 8.35 mm and it weighs 170 grams.

While Redmi 4 and 4A were launched in China, last November, MAE136 might be another addition to the series and MBE6A5 can be an insight of the much awaited Redmi 5. The leaked images suggest that these smartphones will feature a metal unibody design with sharply tweaked antenna lines and they also appears to have a curved 2.5D glass at front and three capacitive keys at the bottom.

The specs looks rather too common in these two smartphones and the bells and whistles that Xiaomi will launch them with, will tell us what’s different!! Meanwhile, Xiaomi has lost a significant market share to companies like Oppo, Vivo and Huawei in China and the company is looking to regain the lost ground. However, Redmi 3 series has seen a huge success in India and since Redmi 5 series in now in the works, Indian users could soon expect the 4-series to be launched here.
