Samsung Galaxy S8 Specifications and Features
Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus: Except for the 6.2-inch Infinity Super AMOLED curved display with 2960 x 1440 resolution (529 PPI) and 3,500 mAh battery with fast-charging, rest remains the same as the non-plus variant.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus were launched globally in Midnight Black, Orchid Grey, Arctic Silver, Coral Blue, and Maple Gold colors but it’s still uncertain whether India will receive all the color options.
The one thing we really miss in the Indian version of Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus is the latest Snapdragon 835 Processor and considering the price, these smartphone will directly go head-to-head with Apple iPhone 7, Apple iPhone 7 Plus and Google Pixel.
In perhaps one of the biggest recall in the smartphone industry, around 2.5 million Galaxy Note 7 users had to return their devices last year and it will be interesting to see whether Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus will be able to help the Korean company regain its lost ground or not. Moreover, Apple iPhone 7 series and Google’s Pixel series have also been not able to make a dent in the premium smartphone segment and it seems like all is not lost for Samsung and they will most certainly manage to cover those $17 Billion worth of losses that they suffered after the Note 7 fiasco.
