Realme 5 series has been launched in India and the company has introduced two new smartphones in India called the Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro. It should be noted that Realme 5 series beings the first two smartphones from the company which sport quad rear cameras and since Realme has always touted itself for being focused on budget offerings, the prices of Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro start as low as Rs. 9,999 in India.
While the Realme 5 Pro is definitely the more premium offering here with better camera modules, powerful processor and more, Realme 5 makes the deal even better with a 5000 mAh battery (better than Realme 5 Pro) and a 6.5-inch HD+ display at the front. On the other hand, the Realme 5 comes with 78 per cent screen-to-body ratio, which, according to the company, is 30.9 per cent smaller than the previous generation smartphone. As for the design, Realme 5 comes with a plastic back featuring crystal design with help of the glossy surface and nano-scale texture technique.
The Realme 5 price in India starts at Rs. 9,999 for the 3GB RAM with 32GB inbuilt storage version while the 4GB RAM with 64GB of inbuilt storage version of the smartphone is priced at Rs. 10,999. Meanwhile, the 4GB RAM with 128GB inbuilt storage version of the Realme 5 will retail at Rs. 11,999. The device has been made available in Crystal Blue and Crystal Purple colour options starting from August 27, 2019 via Flipkart and Realme.com
