This has once again underlined the 35 year-old’s importance Manchester United’s hopes this season, no wonder why Jose Mourinho has stated that it would be a “disaster” to lose the Swede to injury.
He now has 23 goals for United which is easily the best return by any Old Trafford striker since 2012-13 when Robin van Persie registered a Premier League-winning haul.
This was a once in a lifetime performance in UEFA Europa League and Twitteratti didn’t take much time to trigger a flood of appreciation and a troll on Pogba brothers sideshow.
