Cristiano Ronaldo Bust Creator Unveils Gareth Bale’s Statue and We Are Not Sure Which One Is Better

Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale are two of the most celebrated Real Madrid superstars and both have numerous accolades registered on their name. While Cristiano Ronaldo was recently honored by the Madeira government with remaining the Madeira Airport as Cristiano Ronaldo Airport, there was another thing that came to everyone’s attention.

It was the best of Cristiano Ronaldo that was unveiled on the same day at the airport and man it was as good looking as Ronaldo’s haters would have wanted it to look. It was the most bizarre thing you would have ever seen and some of us even felt sorry for Cristiano Ronaldo, given he had to stand next to it.

Despite the flop, the creator, Emanuel Santos is at it again as he was asked to build a bust of Cristiano Ronaldo’s Real Madrid partner Gareth Bale. ahead of the Champions League Finals against Juventus on Sunday.

The match will be played at Cardiff which is Bale’s hometown and the authorities thought of calling the infamous creator of Ronaldo’s statue and this time he took 264 hours to create his next ‘masterpiece’.

The 40kg Bronze Statue which is worth £25,000 looks like this.

Yes, it somehow manages to look like Gareth Bale himself, but hardly. However, when Emanuel Santos was asked about his new creation and being trolled on the previous one, here is what he said, “I have no problems with those things. I have a lot of people who do not like the bust because it doesn’t look like him exactly. And I try to explain – it’s not a photo”. He was confident enough that Gareth Bale is going to like his depiction and added, “When Gareth Bale sees this bust, I think he will like it. He will enjoy it. I created this bust with my soul, with everything I had inside of me”.

Twitter, however, found the funny side of Gareth Bale’s bust, in the same way, they found in Cristiano Ronaldo’s case and here is what they think about the Art Creator’s work.

The Portuguese is a self-taught artist and has been doing this for only two years but man, he has climbed the success ladder at an unbelievable pace. While his first creation was a life-size sculpture of fishermen in a boat in Madeira, his second was a bust of one of the most famous man in football history, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Rewind just a few months and Emanuel Santos was a full-time cleaner at the Madeira airport and now he has a fan base of his own and is recognized just walking down the street. Even the Socialist party in his hometown, Canical, has reached out to him for the local government elections in October and the artist has decided that this will be his next big step. Santos will begin campaigning for the elections at the end of the summer.
