Gautam Gambhir has been the talk of the hour due to his chances of a comeback in the Indian team. His performance in the recently concluded Duleep trophy has been lauded by everyone where he took his team to the title victory.
Gambhir and Sehwag were one of the best opening pairs that India has seen as these two star players took the Indian team to victory many times.
Gautam Gambhir last played for India in 2014 where he scored just three runs in two innings, after which he was sacked from the team. He has been playing a lot of domestic cricket since then and improved his form for an extravagant comeback.
His hard work and the prayers of all Gambhir fans has been answered and the Legend in Waiting is back and we expect it to be a bang.
He has been selected in the place of KL Rahul who suffered a hamstring injury in the second innings of the match after which Shikhar Dhawan came to field as his substitute.
