My grandfather always taught me that drinking water should be the first thing I should do as soon as I wake up and since childhood, it is one ritual that I have followed religiously. With time I learnt that drinking water on an empty stomach has more benefits. It helps cleanse the internal organs, ensures that nutrients are easily absorbed in food, makes our digestive system better and also keep the functions of our kidneys smooth.

Drinking excessive water may be fatal for sportspersons

If you are drinking warm water in the morning, it works like magic. It detoxifies impurities, reduces skin blemishes, keeps your skin smooth, soft and glowing.

These are few of many reasons that you should drink water in the morning on an empty stomach but, if you are looking for more. Here are 3 major reasons why drinking water should be the first thing you should do in the morning.

An empty stomach when consumed water, it makes bowel movement very easy. When your body consumes clean water in the morning, it digests food better and eliminate the chances of bloating and constipation. It also reduces the risk of catching diseases like Typhoid and Cholera.

Because it improves your digestive system, it automatically detoxifies your body. Due to the enough percentage of fluid in your body, the food breaks down easily in your stomach and organs stimulate in right way. It removes all the impurities and keeps your body healthy.
