Update Regarding Delhi Schools During The Lockdown Period

The Delhi schools during lockdown period could be likened to a vast empty open green field where no sporting action is taking place- think of empty classrooms- even as the payers and icons are available, raring to go ahead, but sort of watching from the sidelines.

Just that on a good, normal or active day, the sports-stars rise like the massively-dedicated students, plying their technique on the field akin to studious, cerebral brains wielding books in their hands. The student amid an examination is quite like an athlete in the midst of a deciding contest, whether in a Football, Hockey, or Cricket pitch.

That said, here’s a thought. Fundamentally speaking, a state of inaction is probably the worst thing (ever) that one could imagine especially where it comes to those endeavours in life that are sacrosanct and unmistakably important toward the growth and development of one’s life.

That being said, the are no happening or telling updates pertaining to Delhi schools during the lockdown. And where it stands at the moment, then the only real update that one has right now pertains to the tuition fees.

In fact, the amount of tuition fees, if one may put it succinctly. It appears- and according to the central government in Delhi (Aam Aadmi Party, the ruling party of Delhi)- then the only thing that the Delhi schools can charge their pupils for is the tuition fees, frankly speaking.

That being said, what are the details pertaining to this update on Delhi schools during lockdown.

Schools have also been asked to not take fees quarterly but monthly. Sisodia said no private school will be allowed to increase fees during the lockdown and institutes are mandated to pay salaries to both contractual and full-time staff.

“It has come to my notice that many schools are taking fees arbitrarily and charging transportation fees even when schools are closed. Private schools should not stoop to this level. Be it private or government schools, they cannot hike fees,” Sisodia said.

Interestingly, there were some rather important thoughts that were shared by the minister in power, Mr. Manish Sisodia on the current matter, a personality that has done his fair bit to revolutionise and drastically transform the face and fate of the Delhi schools (government schools).

Heres is what Mr. Sisodia had to say on the matter:

Education and economy were worst affected by the COVID-19 crisis. We are taking online class and taking various steps to ensure education to the students of government school.

And that is not all, at the present moment, all the Delhi schools during the lockdown are expected to adhere to the order and maintain a firm system that has been asked of them. Furthermore, any non-adherence to the current culture will only be treated with a sense of sternness by the AAP government for it is of utmost important to uphold discipline during this time in the city.

At the same time, one must also extend massive regards to all the schools that are currently executing a series of online classes for the students of the national capital, a phenomenon that ensures the continuance of education during these tough times mired by incessant lockdown.
