Traveling in Delhi Metro can turn out to be a real can of worms. Although, the idea of the metro was brought on board to minimize the long traffic lines and it has been helpful to some extent but we still can’t say that it’s a safer way of traveling for women.
Why? Well, simply because you will find that metro is flooded with people no matter which line or time it is. The scenario of general coach looks no less than an overloaded zoo, so if you are a woman and traveling in a metro, then you must rush to the women’s coach otherwise you will be gladly welcomed by unwanted and never ending glances, body rubbing and even teasing comments.
Yes! That does happen and the worse part is you can’t do anything about it because people simply reason it by saying that there is no space in the coach they can’t help it. Well, an incident in Delhi Metro will make you understand better “how worsen the situation has got”.
Can you believe it? Till the time that woman didn’t remove her top every guy was shouting at both of them. The reason for this conflict is to remain unclear but no woman in the world deserves to be treated like this. The best part is that at least someone was wise enough to come forward and tell them that nobody wants to fight.
