Are our kids our kids or some kind of a cheap price tag? Are they some lewd items as to be put a sticker on? Would you actually even think of putting some form of a tag on a living person? Forget that, think of this! Will you, as a parent, for instance, ever allow such a terrible line of action to occur to your own kid if someone did that to your child? What world have we come to inhabit where a kid in living flesh and blood can be strapped to a price tag? Just what sort of mental dementia can a person be suffering from as to be bringing wretched light to a harmless kid?

Leave whatever it is that you are doing and stop all the mundane chores that have had your priceless attention and divert your focus to a piece of news that can neither be forgotten nor be ignored in any circumstance.

And this bit of news takes us to perhaps the most developed and forward-looking of all cities in the entirety of Gujarat- Ahmedabad!

It appears that a woman, believe it or not, actually put a price tag onto a child’s body, this being a minor girl. And what’s shocking and painful is the fact that the parent put a price tag of Rs 2500 strapped to the child’s body.

Even if it could have, in a certain sense, been taken as a dead-mind moment or a very poor joke, something you do in an instant only to forget about it the very next moment, things took a turn for the worse when the very person decided to popularize the very regrettable action onto Facebook.

Can you believe that? Have you ever heard of something as horrifying as this?

How could someone living in this day and age, perhaps fully aware of the consequences of such a terrible action take to a popular massy social media platform to get larger attention?

Police said that Singh had allegedly added the complainant’s minor daughter’s photograph to her Facebook status update. Singh had written Rs 2,500 over the photograph and had also mentioned the girl’s mobile number. Police further stated that Singh had also sent WhatsApp obscene messages to the complainant, according to a report by The Indian Express.  

Furthermore, when the matter was reported to the police in the city of Ahmedabad, here’s what an official had to say, “Upon interrogation, the accused revealed that earlier she used to live in Delhi and four years ago, she moved to Ahmedabad. Initially, the accused stayed in a paying guest facility and came in touch with the victim’s father which developed into a friendship. Of late, the accused had a tiff with the minor’s father and in revenge, she posted the picture of her on social media.

Moving on, the only thing, it could be said, that comes in positive light from the shocker from Ahmedabad is that it did not take long for the police to trace the accused. The woman who finds herself in the centre of the storm goes by the name of Radha Singh. And in the right course of action, a case has been registered against the strange woman under the Information Technology Act (IT) and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (also known as POSCO).
