“Baadshaho” Teaser Shows The Emergency Period With A Royal And Venturesome Backdrop

“Baadshaho” Teaser is here and by the looks of it, the film seems to be a compilation of realistic drama which has been given a high dose of action, and we’re not at all complaining about it.

It seems that Bollywood has a particular kind of air which affects all and takes them into a similar direction. And, while romance and action have always been there, this time it involves the topic of the Emergency of 1975. Baadshaho is set in the same time frame, and just like this one, there’s Madhur Bhandarkar’s recent piece of work too, Indu Sarkar.

While the “Baadshaho” Teaser opens up with the Emergency being announced and with the visuals of the country going into the lockdown, it takes a completely new turn in the next few seconds. “Baadshaho” is about six badasses who have decided to pull off a heist which can leave them all with boundless wealth. The entire mission has to be pulled off in 96 hours and they have 600kms to cover.

Set in the deserts of Rajasthan with the backdrop of beautiful royal palaces, “Baadshaho” seems to be full of nail-biting action and some of the most kickass dialogues. The film is said to based on Indira Gandhi’s orders to take over Jaigarh Fort at the time of the Emergency.

This high on stunt action flick has Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Ileana D’Cruz, Esha Gupta, Vidyut Jamwal and Sanjay Gupta. Plus, you can also spot Sunny Leone in there for a few seconds. In the end, “Baadshaho” Teaser gives us all the reasons to get pumped about it and now we just don’t want another good-in-teaser-bad-in-theatre kind of film.

Milan Luthria brings Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi’s Jodi back in “Baadshaho”, after the successful Once Upon A Time In Mumbai saga. “Baadshaho” will hit the theatres near you on 1st September 2017.
