SkyDrive And Suzuki To Collaborate On Business And Technology Of Flying Car

In an exciting development, Japanese automaker Suzuki Motor Corp. and SkyDrive Inc. have announced that they will collaborate on business and technology for an electric flying car. The partnership will also open new markets for the company. Suzuki has a half-share in the Indian auto market and recently announced plans to invest $1.37 billion in a new factory there to produce electric vehicles and batteries. 

In addition to the business partnership, the companies plan to develop an autonomous flight-sharing service for the Japanese market. This is one step closer to making the dream of owning a ‘flying car’ a reality.

In an agreement signed between the two companies, the two will work together to develop electric VTOL aircraft.  Both companies will use the partnership to open up new markets for their electric flying cars. The collaboration will also focus on battery technology and manufacturing systems.  The goal is to operate a fully electric air taxi service in Osaka by 2025.

The two companies will work together to develop a small electric flying car that can carry 30 kilograms. The company plans to launch the service in Osaka in 2025, when the city is hosting a World Expo. With the partnership, Suzuki will be able to expand its mobility business to a fourth sector. This means that the company will be expanding beyond automobiles and motorcycles.

The SkyDrive vehicle will also offer a drive mode and a passenger mode. It is intended to be a hybrid, which will have two modes.The partnership will help them achieve their long-term goals of commercializing the flying car and making it a viable transportation solution. And the company hopes to sell its first prototypes by the end of this decade.
