Donald Trump has been called out to not be a man of facts, all throughout his candidacy. However, he is the President-elect of America who would become the President of America in mere hours. He hosted his inaugural concert at the Lincoln Memorial and gave a small speech for all the people present over there.
The whole episode of who will be performing at the concert and who will not, be too long to keep track of, many A-Listers declined the offer to perform at the event mainly because of their fans. However, Sam Moore, Toby Keith, and 3 Doors Down, finally came together to put up a show for the audience. Jennifer Holliday just dropped out at the last moment after some clamoring by Trump’s Critics. At the same time, if compared, Barack Obama’s inaugural concert had many big celebrities from the country.
Even though there are no official reports, it has been said that Trump’s inaugural concert had around 10,000 people, whereas Obama had his inaugural concert at the same venue in 2009 and witnessed an estimated gathering of 400,000 people.
He said a lot of things in his speech that included things like, he would bring back jobs and would definitely make America great again. This didn’t go down nicely with the people on Twitter whose reaction was rather educating for many Trump supporters.
