“Theresa Ke Sath” Is The New Campaign Idea To Woo British-Indians

Britain is undergoing an election very soon, in fact, the elections are going to happen in less than 2 weeks now, and it’s nothing like the prior ones. This particular election has the power to completely transform the future of Britain, which means that campaigning in the UK is going to be a much more strenuous and requisite.

In the wake of the present campaigning in the UK, Britain’s ruling Conservative Party has released a music video which is a Hindi Campaign for Theresa May. The song, “Theresa Ke Sath” has been released in an attempt to woo the 1.6 million strong Indian diasporas in the country. ‘Theresa Ke Sath’ talks about how Theresa May will provide a strong and stable leadership for Britain and growth of the British economy.

Released on the YouTube channel of Conservative Friends Of India, the song has been produced by the CFI co-chair and UK-based Indian businessman Ranjit S Baxi. “Theresa May wants to build strong trade partnership with India and engage actively with the British Indian Community,” said a statement from the team behind the song.

The song is written, composed and produced by Pandit Dinesh, Vocals by Navin Kundra, Rubayyatt Jahan, Urmi Chakraborty , Raja Kasaf & Ketan Kansra, Music by Milan Handa, Chris Nolan & Mauro. Various clips of Theresa May with the Indian community in Britain and India can be seen in it.

Now, we don’t know how efficiently a campaign like this is supposed to work in whose favour, however, it does relate on a very personal note to all the Indians in Britain.

In mid-April, Theresa May announced that she wants to hold a snap general election on 8th of June, which was completely opposite of what she was claiming earlier. In a press briefing, Prime Minister May announced her decision and claimed that the opposition parties were jeopardising her government’s preparations of Brexit.
