The entire letter was too emotional for anybody to handle, and even Obama got teary eyed while reading the letter at United Nations Leader’s summit on refugee. He praised Alex for his thoughtfulness and on his ability to look beyond colour, race and nationality while being a human.
President Obama invited Alex to White House last week, as he wanted to meet the young kid and his family.
He admired Alex’s kindness towards others and hoped that other people would also start thinking in the same, for the betterment of this world. He also told him, that he is very proud of him. In addition to that, Obama went on to be the gentleman that he is and complimented Alex on his suit too.
