“Helen Keller” can be summed up as one of the most inspiring people in the World who overcame all her disabilities and worked hard towards her achievement, and that too with all the heart and soul. She lost her sight and hearing at an early age, however, this didn’t stop her from being the best version of herself. She lived a long and very productive life as an author and activist, which made her story all the more inspiring.
“Helen Adams Keller” was born on 27th June 1880, in Tuscumbia, Alabama. And, her illness struck her in 1882 due to which she was left blind and deaf. Her life started to transform on the arrival of Anne Sullivan, her teacher, who helped her to make a tremendous progress with her ability to communicate. Later she went on to College and graduated from there in 1904.
She was a pacifist in the World War I era and later on went to support some of the most controversial issues, of that time. She fought extensively for the women’s rights, birth control and ending child labour.
