What Warning Has Putin Delivered A Host Of European Nations, Including Germany And France?

It may sound like some really random or funny question but truthfully speaking, a pretty straightforward question must be asked and now:

When is the day and just what is that day about when Russian President Vladimir Putin isn’t angry or not perturbed about some sort of disturbance or occurrence in the European region.

Well over two months have passed since Putin began a soul-shattering exhibition of military action against Ukraine, a country he clearly doesn’t consider a friend; a nation that, well and truly speaking, despises Russia.

So far, a litany of dramatic, even woeful actions have taken shape where the Russian aggression against Ukraine stands and the following developments, not necessarily in any particular order, have made bold news headlines:

1. No fewer than 40,000 Ukrainian refugees arrived in Switzerland and this was at the end of February (given the total state of chaos back at home).

2. According to a report by the BBC, no fewer than 14 million from Ukraine had, as of the end of April, already left the country. To take cognisance of just how damaging a number that is, think for a second that the total Israeli population, as of now, is around 9 million people. And here, 14 million Ukrainians, quite simply, left their wounded and bleeding homes!

3. Russia didn’t only stop at its aggressive course of action against Ukraine; it’s nearly broken diplomatic ties with countries such as Italy, Germany and France.

4. As of May 19, Russia expelled no fewer than 34 French diplomats and had already expelled 40 diplomats belonging to Germany days before.

5) Furthermore, Russia also cut all supplies of natural gas to Finland. It had, however, forewarned or threatened the Sanna Marin-led nation about reprimands if her country applied for a Nato membership, which Finland certainly went for.

6) And now, Russia has leveled a direct threat to countries like France and Germany given the fact that the dazzling duo of Europe are supporting Ukraine in its bloodied war against Russia by way of arms.

Furthermore, as per a latest news report published on the revered NDTV news platform, some interesting details of the situation were captured and the following is what must be considered whilst considering the present-day Russian aggression against Ukraine:

“An increase in the supply of Russian fertilisers and agricultural products will also help reduce tensions on the global food market, which, of course, will require the removal of the relevant sanctions.”

The West has accused Putin of using hunger as a weapon in Moscow’s offensive against Ukraine.

As Ukraine’s Western backers were considering whether to send more arms supplies to Kyiv, Putin also told Macron and Scholz the continuing arms supplies were “dangerous”, warning “of the risks of further destabilisation of the situation and aggravation of the humanitarian crisis,” the Kremlin said.

The French and German readouts of the phone talks made no mention of the sanctions against Russia or the Western arms supplies to Ukraine.

But all of that being said, it’s not that talks between Ukraine and Russia haven’t been held so far; truth is, that whatever communication that there existed so far, has grounded to a halt.

At present, the French government along with its German counterpart is doing its level best to request Russia to let go of as many as 2,500 Ukrainian fighters who’ve been held captive, even on this day, at the Azovstal steel plant at Mariupol (in Ukraine), though it’s not clear as to what may happen to them.
