Chinese Entrepreneurs Are Making Way For Other Chinese To Live, Succeed In Germany

With myriad institutes offering tons and tons of opportunities for undergraduates to study engineering- a fulcrum around which many interesting careers revolve in these times- Germany offers a fascinating ocean of study for students hailing from Asia.

But particularly when one speaks of the land of the oriental, it isn’t too surprising to find that more and more Chinese students are finding their feet firmly etched on the intellectual firmament in Germany.

Germany, truth be told, is a hotbed for Chinese students who come to the heart of West Europe to prolong their love and passion to acquire technical expertise, still an enormous draw where the corporate sector is concerned.

A burgeoning automobile trade- that has strengthened bilateral relations of two of the world’s most reputed economies- kept aside, Germany and China are closer than before when it comes to educational co-operation. At the moment, according to estimates, there are as many as 1,20,000 Chinese living in Germany.

Among this whopping number, most of them are students. There are more Chinese students pursuing automobile, mechanical and other fields of engineering study than there are Indians or Indonesians. That’s a fact that no media outlet can deny.

Moreover, of the enormous 1,20,000 Chinese residing in Germany, there are tons of entrepreneurs apart from students. This makes up for the second-largest group. So, one might ask what do the entrepreneurs do? Are their interactions purely about business networking and exploring areas for forging strong, cordial economic collaborations.

Truth be told, the Chinese entrepreneurs are a dense group present at a pan-Germany level who network not only for business opportunities but also for better integration.

Several students work out the grind and learn the tricks of the trade having served at multiple-levels of vocation. Many a Chinese student studying engineering at say, a Technical University at Hamburg or at the Heidelberg University acquire basic life skills and learn to interact much better to assimilate with the local population by working in as packers, aircraft cleaners, waiters and also put long hours on the academic front.
