New Delhi: In a video which is going viral on social media platforms, a US women is seen shooting her children’s iPhone with a rifle. She aims at the smartphone perched on a tree bark and blow it into smithereens.
The mother was apparently furious over her children’s addiction to gadgets and did this to teach them a lesson to for disobedience and disrespecting her.

“I hereby denounce the effects that social media have on my children. Their disobedience and their disrespect,” the mom yells before the action.
She is also heard saying “my children are more important to me than any electronic item on earth”.
After shooting the phones, she didn’t stop, and even went on to sledgehammer the surviving pieces.
The video also shows the three children standing with crossed arms and watching their mom destroy their beloved iPhone.
After sledgehammering the broken pieces several times, she finishes her job and walks away saying “I am done”.
Taking away smart phones is a common parental punishment but this mom took it to another level.
