An Indian Man Assaulted A Woman On US Flight And Got Arrested.

Veerabhadrarao Kunam is a 58-year-old man from India who has been charged with sexually touching a woman sitting next to him. Kunam is a resident of Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh and on a flight from Los Angeles to New Jersey he was charged by the complaint of abusive sexual contact with a woman sitting next to him.

According to the details of the complaint filed against him, he was seated next to a woman on a plane from Los Angeles to Newark.

The woman fell asleep while the plane was in the air and when she woke up she found Kunam touching her inappropriately.

After noticing Kunam’s inappropriate touch, the woman alerted her male travel companion and traded seats with him. The woman’s male travelling companion exchanged the seat and confronted Kunam. The accused then tried to calm the matter and told victim’s travel companion to forget about everything that happened and also offered him a drink.

The victim’s travel companion denied the offer and informed flight crew about the incident. As soon as this incident came to the light of the flight crew, a crew member changed the seat of Kunam and warned him not to return back to his previous seat.

Kunam assured the crew member that he will not touch the woman again.

The federal government of US has exclusive jurisdiction over all sexual abuse cases that take place inflight in the United States.
