Rajneesh Kapoor Has A Funny Rant On The Indian English

The Legendary Amitabh Bachchan once said that ‘English is a very funny language’ and the rest is history. However, Rajneesh Kapoor’s new video deals with present implications of English and how it sometimes fails to express what we really feel.

The extremities in which we, Indians, like to express ourselves is on a whole another level and the same was comically explained by Rajneesh. While starting out with a simple comparison between weather forecasts on BBC and that on Indian channels, he went on to what the actual meaning of ‘Tit for Tat’ is? He also talked about how his Punjabi neighbours think that Oh ho ho ho, is a real adjective, but wait, isn’t it?

Oh ho ho ho is basically another distant cousin of ‘Acha’ which can be used in any and every situation, because why to use some heavy-duty words to express the same thing that can easily be made understood with ‘Oh ho ho ho’? Apart from this, he also talks about how we have just destroyed English, which was our way of doing ‘Tit for Tat’. You also need to check out the ‘Tea’ part which is down-right hilarious.

No matter how big of a Grammar junkie you consider yourself to be, one has to admit that there are times when we all have resorted to the fun and hilarious Indian English which has the best of both worlds.
