“Love Beyond Sizes” are just three words, however, the meaning that they ingrain is lot more than what one can ever imagine. We need to understand the implications of these words that Love can never fall for a perfect size or can never only happen to the one with society’s 36-24-36 figure. It is love, and it happens to anyone and everyone, not just to someone with straight hair, clean face, perky breasts, slim arms and abs, love has no gender, no boundaries and certainly no specified size.
However, this love that we’re talking about, doesn’t just come from the other person. It’s the love that one has for themselves and for each and every one of their flaws, which are not actually flaws but something that makes you different.
Body shaming has been in existence for forever, and it is now that women are fighting it with the clearest thoughts about how they’ll always love themselves, no matter what they look and how they look.
A group of women from Indraprastha College for Women, Delhi University, came together and created a video, “Love Beyond Sizes”. This video talks about how self-love is the greatest love one can have in their life and no one should take away someone’s ability to love themselves. Body Shaming is a demon in our society and we need to stop feeding it the self-confidence of young and impressionable women, who grow up to be demotivated and with a lot of insecurity.

We need to tell everyone that no simple figure is a beautiful figure, every figure is beautiful, if and if we believe in it.
