The reality of Indian families is too complex to put onto paper, however, everyone would agree to the fact that there are certain things that every Indian family does. And, no matter how different you consider your family or yourself to be, you need to make peace with the fact that Indian families have this ideology of over-utilising things.
We have excelled the art of how to use one thing to the fullest or even use different things for different purposes that are way too different than their actual purpose, confusing right? Well, that’s what Indian Families are.
Jeeveshu Ahluwalia has come out with his brand new stand-up comedy video and in it, he talks about the same thing in an absolutely hilarious way. His take on how we have all grown up with two different genres of clothes, one that is meant to be worn outside the house, and one which is meant to be worn at the house. He also included the reality of treadmill in Indian households where, let’s face it, no one uses it for its actual purpose.
True right? Everything that Ahluwalia spoke about is too real on too many levels and we just can’t be shamed enough to admit that we all do it. Yes, every one of us and every one of you too.
