AIB may have been thrashed for various reasons over their content but these guys surely know how to deliver a strong message. Where people abstain from admitting the problems that make our society hollow, these guys shout out loud and give those less discussed topics a platform. On this year’s World Health Day, the World Health Organization decided to do a campaign on an illness that is a topic of concern to people all over the world – Depression. And after that, people held nothing inside, every artist who has a platform is coming out and joining the cause for the betterment of everyone’s mental health and so did AIB (All India Bakchod).
Why don’t people talk about it?
It is just another illness but they avoid even discussing it. The fear of society is way too daunting that people who suffer from depression suppress their emotions and forbear to talk about it to anyone. And if we talk about Indian Society, it gets scarier because rather than considering it a mental illness they consider it lunacy and the so called drama of ‘Log Kya Kahenge’ starts. Do we really need to do that? AIB sends a message out loud that, enough has been done to worsen the life of people who suffer from depression, now is the time when you can come forward and support them without judging.
