Delhi Takes Great Measure To Prevent Air Quality From Turning Toxic Again!

“Out here in the parameter, there are no stars,” said Jim Morrison. He also said, “Out here, we are stoned immaculate.” Not that one needs to be stoned in real life to gauge the actual situation that’s taking place in Delhi, but truth certainly is that polluted air and toxicity can never give anyone any kind of high!

Well, certainly not that high that Morrison was on when he found a way to make poetry out of allying lyrics to mysticism as only he could. For where real life stands in the city of New Delhi, then you might as well be dead given how flagrant abuse of innocence and decency in maintaining a decorum in the quality of air (we all breathe) has led to a scenario where everyone is suffering.

What does one even do upon waking up to find the AQI, also known as the Air Quality Index has crossed 500 and is touching 500 or is, as seen recently, crossing 800?

Just how patient can anyone ever be in such a city living with such a massive strife, isn’t it?

Truth be told, the little that we can and must thank the almighty for- and this isn’t honestly dramatising anything- one must thank him or her for keeping our lives intact despite the glaring mistake that Delhi is keeping up with.

Didn’t figure that one out as yet?

Well, the awfully polluted air, what else? Can there be anything else after all that’s as worrisome and troublesome at the same time as this “Dracula air?”

Nevermind, for where the government is concerned, then it surely is- not apparently, but truly- taking the right sort of measures to battle out what has truly been an embattled situation.

So how is that exactly and who is doing what now?

From November 27, change is going to come to Delhi. A lot of it, truth be told.

The following is what popular news journal Live Mint had to say:

In its effort to control air quality from turning toxic again, the Delhi government on Wednesday said that only CNG and electric vehicles will be allowed entry into the city from 27 November.

In addition to this, he announced that schools, colleges, and educational institutions in the national capital will reopen on 29 November

Rai also said that all government offices will open from 29 November in Delhi. The environment minister has advised the staff to use public transport. Special buses will be deployed for them, he said.

This comes after the Supreme Court earlier in the day said that the air quality crisis in the national capital calls for a scientific study.

But having said the above, do come to think of it. Just how brilliant a site might that be where all that’s allowed to operate are electric vehicles?

One certainly doesn’t need to start a new media venture to propagate the idea of “Electric vehicles,” say by launching something like an ELECTRIFY India magazine to tell people that the time to change is now and the need for electric vehicles- more than ever! Urgent like it has never been in the past!
