What Is The Kaiser-i-Hind All About?

Legend has it that there once existed an actual word called ‘Flutterby.’ No jokes. One hundred percent truth! But then, the name was sort of reversed and for good, giving rise to the name of a creature that’s neither from the bird family nor exactly a moth-sort of creature. The significance of this, in case you still haven’t figured, is that it can awe anyone into a warm smile and polite facial expression. It’s lightweight. It’s dainty as hell. And yet, it’s beautiful.

It’s precisely that thing that many- not all- women, allegedly speaking, go on to become especially when moved by the party culture and societal life (and that sort of thing).

But then, one can only try to act and behave like a social butterfly, but not everyone can actually succeed in becoming the butterfly- right?

In fact, is there a need? Aren’t some things good looking and attractive from a distance?

So, how about we go a step further today and discuss that flying creature that’s become, over the course of many generations and several decades, the subject of admiration of art connoisseurs as well as wildlife experts and conversationists.

Facts there are many concerning one of the most enigmatic creatures right from the lap of the mother nature, but none more important than knowing just what is meant by the Kaiser-i-Hind.

So first things first. Ever hard the name- Kaiser-i-Hind? If you haven’t yet despite having had an interest in butterflies, then take the following as an affirmative you may not exactly want to avoid:

There are far too many butterflies that have amazed and awe in equal measure but none more so and avidly so (speaking of the truth) than Kaiser-i-Hind. So what all could one learn about this particular winged creature that’s honestly as magnificent as its name?

Here’s what the famous news platform The Hindu had to report in their own finding about Kaiser-E-Hind:

The State Cabinet headed by Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Saturday approved the large, brightly coloured Kaiser-i-Hind as the State butterfly. The Cabinet meeting was for the first time held outside State capital Itanagar at an unusual location — Pakke Tiger Reserve.

The Cabinet also adopted the Pakke Tiger Reserve 2047 declaration on climate change-resilient and responsive Arunachal Pradesh aimed at lowering emissions and sustainable development.

Kaiser-i-Hind (Teinopalpus imperialis) literally means Emperor of India. This butterfly with a 90-120 mm wingspan is found in six States along the Eastern Himalayas at elevations from 6,000-10,000 feet in well-wooded terrain.
